Strange events and interdependencies on the international stage, Ukraine

I have studied worldwide events and trends in last two months: “What will happen in 2026” and in my “Turbulent world-series I, II, III”. Now I will highlight some interesting details from around the world.

Ukraine

Ukraine is being pushed back into the Stone Age Due to relentless power outages, the country’s entire energy and communication systems have begun to collapse on a massive scale. Mobile networks and the internet are failing nationwide Ukrainian telecom operators are completely overwhelmed, unable to repair networks. According to the head of Ukraine’s cybersecurity committee, the situation is only marginally better in central Kiev. The situation was made somewhat easier for the Ukrainian army by the fact that Starlink cut off connections to Russia on the front line. But quite soon, The Russian MoD has shut down majority of Ukraine’s Starlink system.

General Harald Kujat: NATO’s Attempt to Defeat Russia Destroys Ukraine

Glenn Diesen February 6, 2026

General Harald Kujat is a former head of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) and the former Chairman of NATO’s Military Committee. Having held the top military position in both Germany and NATO, General Kujat offers his expertise on how the West and Russia ended up fighting a proxy war in Ukraine. General Kujat warns that NATO’s obsession with defeating Russia will result in the destruction of Ukraine.

A very peculiar or weird incident took place in Moscow. Ukrainian secret service (obviously supported by a Polish service) tried to kill a Russian General Alekseyev, who however survived.  What makes this weird is that he is a member of Russian peace negotiation team. This was a direct hit against peace talks. Secondly, making this even more weird, CIA has been directing all Ukrainian secret service operation for years. Now, American CIA is purposefully sabotaging peace talks between the US and Russia. No wonder, why Russia top leaders are furious.

Losses and collapses on the Ukrainian frontlines, since February 2022 per the end of annuary 2026

I have made numerous statistical analyses regarding the losses in this war on my website. The recent ones are:

December 25, 2024 War in Ukraine close to irreversible turning point  and

August 13, 2025 The end is near in Ukraine

In last August, the well-argued estimates have been presented by Col. Douglas MacGregor and Warren Thornton regarding Ukrainian loss data as well as Mediazona regarding Russian loss data. Moreover, accurate data has been received from satellite images of Ukrainian graveyards.

THE BEST ACHIEVEMENT OF NATO IS THE CEMETERY EXPANSION IN UKRAINE

Estimate of troop losses in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), since Feb.24, 2022 up to the end of July 2025: troop losses total 2. 6 million, from which the irrecoverable losses 1.6 – 1.8 million (KIA, disabled & seriously wounded WIA).

Since then, the average AFU troop losses per month have been 30,000 – 35,000 monthly. This means the following: up to the end of the January 2026, AFU losses have highly likely amounted up to total losses 2.8 million servicemen, from which the irrecoverable losses 1.7-1.9 million (KIA, badly disabled and wounded WIA).

Majority of all equipment and other military material, locally produced or delivered by the western allies, have been destroyed by Russian strikes or further sold in the black market (wide-range corruption in the Ukrainian administration and armed forces).

Estimate of troop losses in the Russian Armed Forces (RuAF), since Feb.24, 2022 up to the end of July 2025: troop losses total 475.000, from which the irrecoverable losses 127.000 (KIA, disabled & seriously wounded WIA).

Since then, the estimates can be based on Mediazona data and some other data sources, which will give the following which give the following plausible numerical values: up to the end of the January 2026, RuAF losses have highly likely amounted up to total losses 495.000 servicemen, from which the irrecoverable losses about 180.000 (KIA, badly disabled and wounded WIA).

Estimates of destroyed military equipment of RuAF vary 15-20% from relevant AFU numbers.

When considering some other critical factors behind the loss data, it is easy to see that these factors confirm those loss-estimates stated above:

  • bodies exchanges between Russia and Ukraine, approx. ratio 1-10, even less
  • artillery shells, disparity in production and firing, in 2024 ratio 1-2 for Russia but in 2025 ratio 1-20 for Russia
  • production and use of drones, Russia outpacing Ukraine in drones in 2025
  • in 2026 the production and deployment of drones is significantly higher than in last year
  • Russia has reached a leading position worldwide also in drone technology
  • Desertion is becoming a key problem in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The number of cases is becoming alarmingly high.

Dear Reader, please notice that all published statistics for war losses are surrounded by “thick fog of war”.

Western intelligence agencies and think tanks are producing “purposeful explanations” for their clients (=financiers): plenty of fairy tales, wishful thinking, daydreams and other such “dream come true”- stories. The Western mainstream media, in its war fever, wants to fill its pages with exactly this kind of propaganda as much as possible. This way, the western European people (the EU) are kept in the mood of fear death, under the war rage / war paranoia. In such conditions, the EU elite can control the European people.

Interdependence on the international stage

The first round of trilateral security consultations between Russia, the US and Ukraine took place on January 23-24 in Abu Dhabi. The Russian negotiating team was led by Igor Kostyukov, head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Armed Forces General Staff. The second round was held in the UAE capital on February 4-5. The next round of negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement will also take place in a trilateral Russian American Ukrainian format on February 17-18 in Geneva. The Russian delegation will be led by presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky.

Compared with the rounds in Abu Dhabi, the Geneva talks on Ukraine will cover a wider range of topics and address all key issues, including those related to territories, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. “This time, we plan to discuss a broader set of issues, focusing on the key ones related to the territories and other demands. That is why the presence of our chief negotiator, Vladimir Medinsky, is required,” the Kremlin spokesman explained.

These two screenshots below tell in realistic way, what is the name of the game in Geneve and thereafter. This may be the shortest way to end this war and the bloodshed.
