Climax of the events at hand in Ukraine
Neither side can afford to lose but every war ends somehow, either by agreement to end it through negotiations or by the outright victory of one side. What’s most likely in Ukraine? I have examined this crisis in numerous articles you can find in the section of “News and articles” on my website. Perhaps one of the most interesting is that of April 1, 2024
Scenarios for the outcome of Ukraine crisis 2024-2025
This conflict, war or whatever you want to call it, is, as Prof. Mearsheimer says, existential for Russia. There is simply no way that Russia will allow itself to be forced back over the original borders to then be faced with NATO right there. Russia will wreak even greater havoc upon the Ukrainian regime first. The potential declaration of war by Russia at that point rather than conducting its present operation would mean the range of targets within Ukraine would be massively expanded and would certainly include every single government office. If the western powers are determined to take this all the way and start programming and launching missiles deep inside Russia, it’s quite likely.
NATO’s long-range missiles to AFU for targeting Russia
Ukraine’s use of longer-range Western missiles targeting deeper inside Russia have been the big topic in recent days, especially after Thursday September 12, when Russian President Vladimir Putin verbalized his strongest words yet warning the West against it: “This will mean that NATO countries, the U.S. and European countries are at war with Russia.”
NATO-leaders are aggressively pushing the greenlight for Ukraine to use their Western delivered long-range weapons to target sites deep inside Russia, including Moscow. It seems that we are now just days away from all the Western powers, including the US, granting Kiev its greenlit license to doomsday.
On Friday the 13, while UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and US President Joe Biden were meeting to discuss the weapons greenlight, cheerleading Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who was jumping aboard this Western bandwagon. Canada fully supports Ukraine using long-range weaponry to strike Russian civil and military targets.
Ukraine is still pushing for the US to support long-range strikes inside Russian territory after a meeting between President Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer ended with no announcements about the issue. There seems to have been a fight within the Biden administration, where a hawkish part within the State Department and National Security Council had been briefing media towards a decision in favor of deep strikes while the Pentagon was strongly against any further provocation of Russia.
The UK wants the US to sign off on Ukraine’s use of British-provided Storm Shadow missiles, which have a range of about 155 miles, inside Russian territory. But there’s no sign that Biden gave that permission during the meeting with Starmer, and according to The New York Times, the US is more concerned about the risk of escalation than the UK.
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg told The Times that allowing Kyiv to launch long-range missile strikes deep into Russia would not be a red line that would lead to escalation. Stoltenberg rejected Putin’s warning that using the missile would be a “red line” that would put Russia at war with NATO. At the same time, he claims that their use by Ukraine will not draw the North Atlantic Alliance into a conflict with Russia. “NATO will not become a party to the Ukrainian conflict, if its member states authorize Kiev to strike at Russian territory with Western-made weapons”, he said.
Stoltenberg has maintained his opinion – a nuclear war is better than Putin’s victory. A nuclear war in Europe suits his US masters just fine. The Europeans are swallowing it in silence. “We have a full-scale war in Europe, unleashed by Moscow. There are no risk-free options in this war. But I still believe that the greatest risk for us will be a victory for President Putin in Ukraine,” the Secretary General emphasized.
On Saturday September 14, the NATO Military Committee Chair, Dutch Adm. Rob Bauer joined the growing chorus maintaining Ukraine’s solid military and legal right to hit farther away Russian targets.
September 14, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz ruled out supplying Ukraine with long-range weapons in the future, as he fielded questions from people in the east of the country. Speaking to a gathering of people in the city of Prenzlau, he reiterated his refusal to provide Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles over concerns that could seriously escalate the situation.

NATO orchestrated strike to Toropets, September 18
On the night of September 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched another massive attack on the Russian territory. Dozens of Ukrainian drones targeted Russian rear regions. Russian air defense intercepted most of the UAVs, but a rear military facility came under attack for the first time in a long time.
According to the official report by the Russian Ministry of Defense, in total, 54 Ukrainian drones were destroyed or intercepted over five Russian western regions. In particular:
- 27 UAVs destroyed in the Kursk region;
- 16 UAVs destroyed in the Bryansk region;
- 7 UAVs destroyed in the Smolensk region;
- 3 UAVs destroyed in the Belgorod region;
- 1 UAV destroyed in the Oryol region.
Six NATO missiles targeted a Russian military unit in Toropets, Tver Oblast, northwest of Moscow, towards St. Petersburg. Three Ukrainian drones were intercepted by Russian air defenses, but the remaining missiles hit their targets, causing a major fire and explosion in an ammunition depot.

Putin Issues Stark Warning to the West
Larry Johnson’s Channel, September 12, 2024
What Putin said about Kiev’s use of long-range weapons: Kiev is already striking Russia with drones and other means, but high-precision systems are “a completely different story” Ukraine is not capable of independently using Western long-range precision weapons. For this, they need intelligence from satellites from the West anyway. Flight assignments can only be entered into these systems by NATO military personnel but not by Ukrainian military personnel. We are talking about whether NATO countries will decide to directly participate in the Ukrainian conflict. This significantly changes the essence and nature of the conflict. This will mean that NATO countries, the United States, and European countries are at war with Russia. If the essence of the conflict changes, Russia will make appropriate decisions based on the threats that will be created.
September 14, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov told reporters that
“The Russian President has said everything on this topic. The decision [to allow Kiev to strike] is there, all the carte blanche, indulgences have been issued to Kiev’s clients. Therefore, we will respond in a brutal way. There is an element of serious risk here, because the opponents in Washington, London, and other places clearly underestimate the degree of danger of the game they continue to play”.
September 13, Sergey Karaganov, the honorary chairman of the Presidium of the Council for Foreign and Defense Policy (CFDP), told on the sidelines of the Xiangshan Forum in Beijing.
“The much-discussed possibility of a decision to let Ukraine use Western weapons for strikes deep into Russia’s territory, should it materialize, will trigger an escalation that might culminate in retaliatory strikes against European NATO countries”.“Sooner or later, it will come, naturally, to strikes on the territories of European NATO countries,” Karaganov said, commenting on the debates in the West about the possibility of long-range strikes on Russia from Ukraine.
Putin does not make empty threats; they are based on facts and realities. A few months ago, a leak of a call between high-ranking German officers appeared. They were discussing the possible deployment of a German Taurus cruise missile to Ukraine to be used against Russian targets. It became obvious from the leak that any such deployment, aiming and firing of such a weapon cannot happen without the participation of staff from the country that donated the weapon. This applies to the American ATAMCS missiles, to the French/British SCALP/Storm Shadow missiles just as it would apply to the German Taurus cruise missiles.
Russia has wide range options of counter-maneuvers, both direct and indirect, based on its own targeted measures or carried out by proxies. One of the most effective ways appears to be hypersonic missiles, supplied by Russia (or Iran) and used by local proxies like Houthis against the US and NATO troops and facilities in the Middle East.

Collapses of AFU in all frontlines
The Ukrainian incursion into the Russian Kursk oblast is coming to an end. The Ukrainian command had sent its best troops and equipment into the area. It had even pushed its last motorized reserves into the operation. Last week it reinforced the contingent but four weeks of steady Russian bombing and artillery attacks have taken their toll. Preparations for the Ukrainian forces’ attack on the Kursk Region were coordinated, organized and supplied by NATO, which explains why all kinds of Western equipment available to Kiev are being used here, Major General Apty Alaudinov, the chief of the commando forces Akhmat has said.
Whatever the aim of the incursion was has not been achieved. It created a short sugar-high in Ukrainian morale but that has already dissipated. The price has been very high. Half of the troops and material invested in the incursion are now gone. Russia seems to believe that there is not much more for it to gain from this trap and started to shut it down. Yesterday a fast attack by Russian Marines and paratroopers cleared ten towns and villages of Ukrainian forces. Today at least three additional towns were liberated.
Russian Defense Ministry report on repelling AFU attempt to invade Russian territory in Kursk region (September 19, 2024): Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost more than 14,950 troops, 122 tanks, 52 infantry fighting vehicles, 93 armoured personnel carriers, 768 armoured fighting vehicles, 464 motor vehicles, 109 artillery guns, 28 MLRS launchers, including seven of HIMARS and six of MLRS made by the USA, eight SAM launchers, four transport-loading vehicles, 28 electronic warfare stations, seven counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, 14 engineering vehicles, including eight counter-obstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle. The operation to neutralize the AFU units is in progress.
In other parts of the frontline (Donbass and others), Russian troops are advancing strongly. The total collapse of Ukrainian troops (AFU) is nearing every day.

💥 Zelensky Wants To End The War🎖 Israel Prepares For Escalation⚔️ Military Summary For 2024.09.19
Russian Defense Ministry report, per September 19, 2024, total amounts of destroyed enemy items since the start of SMO: In total, 646 airplanes and 283 helicopters, 31,765 unmanned aerial vehicles, 579 air defense missile systems, 18,167 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1,455 combat vehicles equipped with MLRS, 14,813 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 26,203 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.
Troops losses of the AFU, during June – mid-September 2024, have been momentous and staggering: up to 55,000 – 65,000 in every month. These AFU numbers are not sustainable, no army can withstand such losses for long time.
It appears to be quite clear that Zelensky tries to end the war in Ukraine in one way or other, due to collapsed energy management in the country and due to the approaching war in the Middle East. Zelensky knows that the majority of Western military and financial aid will be redirected for Israel and Ukraine is left on its own. All this will happen within next two months.
