All news and information coming from the battlefield and rear areas, since the early summer 2024, tell a clear message: the total collapse of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is nearing every day.
Although neither side can afford to lose, every war ends somehow, either by agreement to end it through negotiations or by the outright victory of one side. What’s most likely in Ukraine? President Zelensky will present his “Victory Plan” tomorrow, on October 16, to the Ukrainian parliament. “Big events” are expected to take place thereafter, both inside and outside Ukraine. Russia is well-prepared to all possible threats.

Casualty assessment, per mid-October
It’s worth to mention that majority of those loss estimates, presented by the western media and some “military analysts” are 100% pure propaganda. Pentagon is also pushing the same story, which was reported in the New York Times some days ago — “September Was Deadly Month for Russian Troops in Ukraine”. All the facts and even Mediazona data indicate unambiguously lower and decreasing Russian loss figures!
Historical war literature tells that artillery accounts for around 75% of all casualties and Russia has enjoyed upwards of at least 5:1 artillery advantage for the duration of the conflict. With Russia consistently firing several times more artillery rounds at Ukrainian forces, it is a simple fact that Ukraine will suffer more casualties and in addition the massive use of drones and FAB bombs, which has intensified over the last six months, is working for Russia’s advantage.
If comparing the pictures on social media of Ukrainian cemeteries with those of Russia’s, the pictorial record shows staggering losses for Ukraine.
Updated loss estimates seem to be the following, since the beginning of June per mid-October 2024 as well as total figures since February 2022:
Troops losses of the AFU, during June – mid-October 2024, have been momentous and staggering: up to 55,000 – 65,000 in every month. These AFU numbers are not sustainable, no army can withstand such losses for long time.

Situation reports from the frontline, per mid-October
The Russian army continues advance in different directions on Ukrainian frontlines. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirms control of new settlements almost daily. Even though, the Defense Ministry officially confirms the full control of settlements after the mop up operations are completed, Ukrainian counterattacks are repelled and Russian strongholds are secured.
Russia and Ukraine continue exchanging massive strikes both on the frontlines and in the rear areas. The AFU as such have no technological means to attack Russian rear facilities. That is why all Ukrainian attacks are only possible thanks to close support by the NATO military, including military reconnaissance.

Zelensky tries to end the war in Ukraine in one way or other, due to collapsed energy management in the country and due to the approaching war in the Middle East. Zelensky knows that the majority of Western military and financial aid will be redirected for Israel and Ukraine is left on its own. Moreover, the presidential election will take place next month in the US.
The collapse of Ugledar was one of key events during last couple of months.
Once again proved in practice, no western “wonder weapon” can save the AFU from losing the war. Now, it was F-16!
Kursk invasion – Zelensky’s aberration
The Ukrainian incursion into the Russian Kursk oblast is coming to an end. The Ukrainian command had sent its best troops and equipment into the area. It had even pushed its last motorized reserves into the operation. Last week it reinforced the contingent but four weeks of steady Russian bombing and artillery attacks have taken their toll.
Preparations for the Ukrainian forces’ attack on the Kursk Region were coordinated, organized and supplied by NATO, which explains why all kinds of Western equipment available to Kiev are being used here, Major General Apty Alaudinov, the chief of the commando forces Akhmat has said.

Russia Unleashes Hell In Kursk

Russian Military has provided new evidence of servicemen of NATO states taking part in military operations on the Russian territory in the border Kursk region.
RuAF destroyed Striker armored personnel carrier with its crew of eight militants from the US in the Glushkovsky district in the Kursk region. All the crew members burned down in Russian forest. According to the documents found in the vehicle, one of them was identified as Brandon Sanchez, who joined the US Army in 2013 as a cook. Russian military observers noted that there were mercenaries from the US and other NATO member states spotted in the battles on the Russian territory, but this is the first recorded case of regular military personnel of the US Army destroyed in the border Kursk region.
Russian experts supposed that this may be due to the fact that the Kiev regime allowed foreigners to hold command officer positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The decision was made due to heavy losses suffered by the Ukrainian military, lack of qualified servicemen and unwillingness of Ukrainian men to join the army.

Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost more than 22,950 servicemen, 157 tanks, 72 infantry fighting vehicles, 98 armoured personnel carriers, 917 armoured fighting vehicles, 630 motor vehicles, 189 artillery guns, 36 multiple rocket launchers, including nine HIMARS and six U.S.-made MLRSs, nine anti-aircraft missile launchers, five transport and loading vehicles, 48 EW stations, nine counter-battery warfare radars, three air defence systems, 22 pieces of engineering and other equipment, including 13 engineering barriers, one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle, and three armoured recovery vehicles. The operation to neutralise the AFU units is in progress.

I have studied this topic thoroughly in the article “Enigma of Nord Stream pipelines”, February 12, 2023. Many open questions exist but quite likely was that the American were culpable for NS detonation. Now, some new evidence has emerged, which confirms the previously stated preliminary conclusion.

“Ramstein dream” never realized and other ominous features
On October 9, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said that neither Biden nor Blinken will fly to the Ramstein Ukraine summit: “The White House announced this morning that due to the projected path and strength of Hurricane Milton, President Biden has canceled upcoming visits to Germany and Angola to oversee preparations and response to Hurricane Milton. This is in addition to ongoing response to the impact of Hurricane Helen to the southeast.
Secretary Biden had planned to join the President in Germany and Angola, but due to the cancellation of the visit, he plans to return to Washington from Laos.” Thus, the planned Ramstein summit of Ukraine Defense Contact Group, on October 12, was canceled and Zelensky’s “Ramstein dream” never materialized.
But Zelensky isn’t letting a hurricane stop him from presenting his “victory plan” to leaders in London, Paris, Rome and Berlin. Starting Thursday, Zelensky is on a 36-hour tour of major European capitals, aiming to persuade the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany, along with NATO’s new secretary-general Mark Rutte, to offer up further military aid.
With Ukrainian troops under pressure from Russians, who are advancing in all frontlines, Zelensky wants to lock in support for his country ahead of next month’s US presidential election, which could upend Kyiv’s relationship with its key ally.
Zelensky’s top five tasks for his European tour: 1. road to NATO, 2. protect Ukraine’s skies, 3. right to strike deep in Russia, 4. reopening Taurus-case, 5. investing in Ukraine’s own arms industry.
His chances to any success in four first issues were near-to-nil beforehand and at the end of the day, the results were as anticipated. On the other hand, industrial cooperation with western arms manufacturers seems to be very possible.
In desperate military situation, Zelensky, the top brass of the AFU and Secret Service are planning and preparing many kinds of “crazy projects” like
- preparing a provocation with chemical weapons, which it will blame on Russia. For this purpose, 40 Ukrainian special services employees have undergone training in sampling at the chemical technology center of OPCW in The Hague.
- Baltic states, Poland and possibly Finland are planning to their NATO masters a blockade of the Gulf of Finland. Russia has warned this is the real act of war.
- Ukraine just launched 4 missiles at Russia’s Kursk Nuclear Power Plant and is planning more strikes. Russian authorities report no excess radiation detected; the situation has under control so far.
An American Turning Point is approaching; the presidential election in November will be a decisive culmination to many major events and processes in the world.

“The war will end only after the liquidation of Ukraine as a state, that is, after Russia’s complete victory. Until this happens, the war will continue. In order to “lose without losing”, the US in every possible way denies its participation in this war, declaring only “help” to Ukraine. Attempts to organize some kind of truce here will end in nothing but a continuation of the war until Russia achieves complete victory.”
