Great powers

The purpose of this website is to watch and analyze the relations between great powers in the world politics after the Cold War (1990), which period has been generally characterized by the US unipolarity.

As widely accepted, the relations and the dynamics between great powers form, supervise and even dictate the most important events, trends and changes on the international scene of the world politics.

In order to achieve the status of great power in the world requires several criteria to be fulfilled.

Present Great Powers consist of three states today: The United States of America (the US), the People’s Republic of China (China) and the Russian Federation (Russia).
